Attaining a Master Degree (Diyar Jalal Naji)

On Thursday, the 28th of March 2019, the Control and Systems Engineering Department awarded the Master Degree (in Mechatronics Engineering) to the student (Diyar Jalal Naji) after discussing her thesis entitled "Optimization of Sustainable Smart Health Care System". The student discussion was made in the discussion room (number 9). In this regard, the discussion committee consisted of the following members:

1- Asst. Prof. Dr. Azad Raheem Kareem (chairman).

2- Asst. Prof. Dr. Wajdy Sadiq Abood (member).

3- Lect. Dr. Luma Issa Abdul-Kreem (member).

4- Asst. Prof. Dr. Safanah Mudheher Raafat (member and supervisor).

The health care system has gained an increasing attention due to the expected increase in the population of communities and the need to immediate intervention to treat some critical medical cases. In this research, the data, which are acquired from health care sensors, are used in a clear functional simulation model called inference quality (QoINF). The objective is to find the best set of sensors with high accuracy and less cost. The consensus algorithm was applied using a network of sensors to reduce the energy needed to initiate a network of wireless health care system, which led to improving the sustainability of the health care system. The assistant head of the department for scientific affairs and postgraduate studies (Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Yousif Hassan) attended the discussion. On this occasion, we congratulate the student (Diyar Jalal Naji) and wish her success.
