The master's thesis of the student Ibtihal Hassan Ibrahim

The master's thesis of the student Ibtihal Hassan Ibrahim, specialized in control engineering, was discussed on Wednesday, April 28, 2022, at Hall 9 in the Department of Control and Systems Engineering. her thesis was entitled: Automatic Design of Quantitative Robust Controller for Ball and Beam System The discussion committee consisted of:

1. Dr. Safana, Mudhir Rafat/ Chairman.

2. Dr. Maher Yahya Salloum/Member.

3. Dr. Shaimaa Mahmoud Mahdi/Member.

4. Dr. Hazem Ibrahim Ali/Member and Supervisor.

The ball and threshold system is a very important system associated with real-world system problems. It is an unstable system used to understand control methods. It is difficult to stabilize this system because of non-linearity and uncertainty. In this work, three powerful controllers, PID, LQR and H, are designed in accordance with the limitations of quantitative feedback theory. (QFT) Quantum Feedback Theory is an engineering methodology used to meet the requirements of the closed loop system with uncertainty in the system with more desirable performance. % Of the desired inputs. The results show that the proposed controllers can meet QFT limitations and achieve the required specifications. Finally, it is clear that approximately 84% improvement has been achieved using the proposed H quantum controller compared to the pre-designed cascade quantum control. The discussion was attended by the Deputy Head of the Department for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Affairs Dr. Mohammed Yusuf Hassan. On this occasion, we congratulate the student (Ibtihal Hassan Ibrahim) and wish her continued success and success.
