The Control and Systems Engineering Department Organized a Workshop on Sustainability

 

 

  The Control and Systems Engineering Department organized a workshop on the topic of sustainability and its importance in achieving a balance between meeting the needs of the present and ensuring the rights of future generations. The workshop focused on explaining the concept of sustainability and its 17 goals, which include eradicating poverty, providing quality education, promoting gender equality, and protecting the environment. The workshop also addressed ways to achieve sustainability through cooperation between governments, the private sector, and civil society. The lecturers stressed the importance of adopting environmentally friendly practices, developing supportive policies, and enhancing community awareness to achieve these goals. The workshop was presented by (Lect. Faten Fouad) and (Asst. Lect. Maha Youssef) in the Computer Control Lab at 10:30 am.
