On Sunday the 5th of May 2019, the Control and Systems Engineering Department held a training course for the students and staff of the department. This course, which was entitled "Handling Errors that Occur when Sending and Receiving Digital Information and How to Process Them", was held at the Digital Lab. The course addressed the following subjects:

-Present an application of logic gates techniques in error detection and correction.

-Explain the principles of code convolution technique.

The aim of the course was to identify the errors that occur when sending and receiving digital information and how to deal with them using sophisticated algorithms in this field. The lecturers of the course were: Dr. Zineb Sabah Mohamed Amin and Mr. Omar Ali.
