Master's Viva of the student Hadeel Ibrahim Abdul Amir

The master's thesis of the student Hadeel Ibrahim Abdul Amir, specialized in control engineering, was discussed on Tuesday, 12 April 2022, at Hall (9) in the Department of Control and Systems Engineering. Her research was entitled: (Fractional Order Fuzzy PID Controller Design for Nonlinear System) The discussion committee consisted of:

1. Dr. Omar Farouk Lotfi / Chairman.

2. Dr. Ahmed Khalaf Hammoudi/Member.

3. Dr. Ammar Ibrahim Majid / Member.

4.Dr. Mohammed Jassim Mohammed / Member and Supervisor.

Automated maneuvering is a highly comparable and complex multi-input and non-linear system. Uncertainty in parameters and external disturbances has a negative impact on the performance of the system, as a result of which the main objective of the thesis is to design four control structures for integrative/proportional derived tapered controllers with a fractional order of two types of robot skylights, a solid two-link robot skylight and a solid three-link robot skylight dealing with the problem of tracking the path. in the case of a two-link solid robot skylight the results of the matlab code show Fractional Order Fuzzy PID controllers to ensure the best track tracking and improve the system's response to initial circumstances, external disturbances and teacher changes. On this occasion, we congratulate the student Hadeel Ibrahim Abdul Amir and wish her continued success.

The University Celebrates its Female Graduates Working in the Military Field

Under the auspices of the President of the University of Technology, Dr. Ahmed Al-Ghaban, and as part of the program of the department of Control and Systems Engineering for celebrating the anniversary of the founding of the university, a celebration was held under the title (Graduates of the University of Technology... Protectors of Society) To highlight and honor all university graduates involved in working as officers in the Ministry of Interior because of the importance of what women do in this field to serve their community and country as well as their excellence, which reflects an impressive picture of the university of Technology, which since its founding has been one of the most important institutions and a source of great potential for the country's builders, especially its distinguished graduates in all kinds of the labor market. The ceremony was attended by the President of the University and deans of colleges and for its part the Ministry of Interior had a distinguished presence at the level of its leaders in addition to the celebrated officers and a number of university professors and students. In his speech, The President of the University thanked the officers and expressed the university's gratitude, as part of the community, for all their extraordinary efforts in the most important institution that serves the citizen and maintains his security. the Ministry of Interior also praised the university's step, which is the first of its kind, to honor its military graduates and the positive impact of this initiative on the human being who offers the most precious thing that dictates you in the service of his country and his community. The celebration included many sections, including musical events performed by university students and dedicated to the graduates, as well as success stories for female officers who impressed the audience, especially the students who are waiting for their role in graduation to choose their field of work and the field of service of beloved Iraq. This will not be the last activity of the Department of Control and Systems or the University in honoring its graduates who are distinguished in their work within their institutions, especially security and military ones, this is what Dr. Azad Rahim mentioned during a media interview with him. All respect and appreciation to all those who serve the flag of Iraq, which deserves all sincere efforts to raise it.

(Major Sports Festival on the Occasion of the Founding of the University)

As part of the programs celebrating the 47th anniversary of the founding of the University and under the auspices of The President of the University, Professor Dr. Ahmed Al Ghaban, the Department of Control and Systems Engineering and the Department of Student Activities in cooperation with the team (Iraqiya here) and the team (Bike Dad Sports) held a sports festival for motor games in the presence and participation of a wide number of university students on the tartan stadium. The festival included various recreational dynamic segments and competitions between three teams, namely the Control team, the Computer team as well as the team of Mechatronics. The latter team won after collecting the highest number of points. The leadership of the three teams was distributed amongst women of (Iraqi here) and they are sports champions at the local and international level as well as activists in the civil complex. The competitions featured beautiful cycling performances for the Bike Dad Sports Team as well as acrobatic performances for the team (the first sports performances at home) The festival's segments created a pleasant atmosphere away from the study seats and everyone competed with the spirit of beautiful sports and teamwork. At the end of the festival, The Head of The Department of Control and Systems Engineering Dr. Azad Rahim and Head of Student Activities Dr. Najah Salman presented the winning team with awards and participating shields to all the teams that contributed to the festival's events with commemorative photographs taken on the stadium stands.
