A scientific visit to the central library

The Department of Control and Systems Engineering at the University of Technology organized a scientific visit to the Central Library for the first-year students in the department. The visit started with the reception and welcoming of students by the library administration, represented by the Administrative Division head, Ms. Kulthum Jumaa, and the Systems Division head, Mr. Osama Abdullah. The students learned about the valuable books, magazines, and references available in the library. They were also directed to how to search and find the books and references needed by researchers and visitors. The library contains many computers through which searching for books electronically are carried out quickly and easily. At the end of the visit, the students expressed their enthusiasm and admiration for the valuable books and references available in the library, and the ease of accessing and borrowing the required books. On this occasion, the Central Library Administration calls on all scientific and engineering departments at the university to organize visits to the Central Library to provide general information to students, enabling them to continuously follow up on developments in knowledge in various fields, and developing the student’s desire to read and learn.
