On Sunday, the 15th of December 2019, a thesis was a subject for a discussion session to earn a Master Degree in Control and Systems Engineering Department, specialized in Computer Engineering for the student (Maha Ahmed Flaieh). The discussion was held in the Conference Hall of our department. The Thesis entitled "Design and Implementation of Turbo Encoder/Decoder for Digital Systems". The discussion committee consisted of:

1- Professor Dr. Salih M. Al Qaraawy (Chairman).

2- Asst. Prof Dr. Muthana hajim Hamad (Member).

3- Lect. Dr. Ekhls K. Hamza (Member).

4- Lect. Dr. Qussay Fadhil Hasan (supervisor and member).

In this thesis, the student discussed the design and implementation of a turbo code to find out the errors through the connection channels, correcting it to ensure having an error-free information. The processing speed has been increased as well as the productivity ratio; it was about 9.3 GB through processing 16 bit/sec., using the state space method. The head of the department and the scientific deputy attended the discussion. Congratulation to the student (Maha A. Flaieh ).
