Discussing a Master's Thesis for the Student Hawraa Razzaq Abdel-Amir

  The master's thesis was discussed in the Control and Systems Engineering Department with a specialization (Computer Engineering) for the student (Hawraa Razzaq Abdel Amir) on Thursday, 19/12/2019 at Hall (No. 9) of the department. The title of the thesis discussed is “Enhanced MQTT Protocol by Smart Gateway” The Examination Committee included:

3- Dr. Walid Fawaz Sharif (Lecturer) / Member

The Internet of Things (IoT) is a new revolution in the Internet that allows to connect people with things anytime and anywhere using the ideal network of any service. The idea of the Internet of Things aims to make the Internet widespread. There are many application protocols. In the IoT, this thesis focuses on the use of the Message Transfer Protocol (MQTT) because it is the most widely used, lightweight and it has an efficient bandwidth. The discussion was attended by the deputy head of the department for scientific research and post-graduate studies. On this occasion, we congratulate the student (Hawraa Razzaq Abdel Amir), and we wish her good luck and success in her future career.
