Enhanced Performance of Consensus Wireless Sensor Controlled System via Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm Abstract:-
ABSTRACT:-
This paper describes the application of consensus optimization for Wireless Sensor Network(WSN) system. Consensus algorithm is usually conducted within a certain number of iterations for a given graph topology. Nevertheless, the best Number of Iterations (NOI) to reach consensus is varied in accordance with any change in number of nodes or other parameters of graph topology. As a result, a time consuming trial and error procedure will necessary be applied to obtain best NOI. The implementation of an intelligent optimization can effectively help to get the optimal NOI. The performance of the consensus algorithm has considerably been improved by the inclusion of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO). As a case study, variable number of nodes in a network with a random graph topology has been considered. Simulation results show that significant reduction in the NOI and power consumption has been achieved, where it decreased the NOI about 40 iteration; when using PSO for different number of nodes in the specified network..

Robust Controller Analysis and Design of Medical Haptic Control System
-:Abstract
Haptic interfaces for medial simulation prove to be especially useful for training in minimally invasive procedures. In this research, a framework that consists of relevant representation of operator and environment dynamic of a tele-manipulated haptic system is implemented. The uncertainty model of the operator and environment models is considered as well to study the influence on the aspects of stability and performance. The framework of H∞ loop shaping robust controller design is applied, then the stability and performance analysis is investigated. Parametric robust control design method is used as well for comparison. The v-gap metric is considered to develop an accurate measurement of uncertainty. Based on the obtained value of the v-gap an efficient procedure of robust control design is applied. The obtained values of v- gap were 0.1112 for the master and 9.755*10-4 for the slave parts of the haptic system, which indicate improved robustness of stability and performance as compared with the obtained values from parametric robust controller design.

Abstract:
In this thesis,a modified derivation of C-space construction analysis was introduced, which effective tool in robot path planning. This construction is based on geometrical analysis for some of basic, regular shape obstacles in the robot environment. A * path planning algorithm was applied on the C-space map. Then D * algorithm, which has better behavior than the first method, was applied. From both methods, the shortest path was obtained that is free from any collision with obstacles. For an optimal path, the D* path was used with PSO algorithm and was implemented on C-space after the latter's map was defined using the Artificial Neural Network (ANN) for an accurate description of the collision zones. The algorithms that applied on C-space map were demonstrated by modeling and practical results.

Abstract: -
The aim of the work is to study the robust characteristic and performance of four different observers when applied to estimate the states of two underactuated mechanical systems (Rotary Inverted Pendulum and Pendubot). This work has invoked four observation techniques for state estimation which are nonlinear extended state observer (NESO), Linear Extended State Observer (LESO), High gain observer (HGO) and Extended State Observer (ESO). Four conditions have been considered to assess the performance of observers; nominal condition, disturbance application condition, noise injection condition and uncertainty perturbation condition.Based on these conditions, the performance of observers are evaluated and quantified in terms of their tracking characteristics and the minimum variance of estimation error they produce.
Studying Master Thesis in the Department of Control and Systems Engineering of Type Two Fuzzy Logic Kinematic Controller for Trajectory Tracking of Mobile Rob
The student (Mustafa Yousef Abbas) has gained a master's degree (very good) for his thesis (Two Fuzzy Logic Kinematic Controller for Trajectory Tracking of Mobile Robot ) . has Presented to the control branch in the Department of Engineering Control and Systems on Wednesday, 25-10-2017 And on the postgraduate hall at the department .
Abstract: -
In this work, a trajectory tracking control for a differential wheeled mobile robot (WMR) system is presented.A big number of investigations have been used the kinematic model of mobile robot which is a nonlinear model in nature. This work focuses on the design a three types of fuzzy controller, the first is fuzzy like PD+I, fuzzy like PI+PD, and Interval Type-2 fuzzy like PI+PD controllers, with a firefly optimization to find the best values of controllers parameters. Matlab Simulation results show a good performance and robust of an Interval Type-2 fuzzy controller with respect to the other type-1 fuzzy controller, by minimizing tracking error and smooth velocity, especially with presence an external disturbance or uncertainty.
